Looking for workers in our Residential services as well as the Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Fife areas.
The Role
As a Project Worker your responsibilities will include:
Building positive, trusting relationships with our young people and encouraging them to achieve their personal goals.
Supporting young people within the LOVE Hub and in the community, attending clubs, classes, activities and social opportunities.
Planning and delivering activities aligned with individual goals and outcomes.
Following, updating, and contributing to individual Care Plans.
Creating Care Plans (Project Worker role) and supporting Assistant Project Workers.
Working collaboratively with parents, carers, and partner agencies to ensure the best opportunities are available.
Communicating effectively and documenting relevant information and updates for colleagues and management.
Attending meetings and contributing to the effective, supportive, and efficient working of the team.
Supporting staff supervisions and spot checks (Project Worker role).
Maintaining a clear understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection legislation at all times.

About You
We are looking for individuals who:
Have experience working with children and young people with complex or additional support needs.
Have experience supporting young people with Autism or Learning Disabilities (advantageous but not essential).
Are resourceful and demonstrate a consistent “can do” attitude with patience and resilience.
Can build strong rapport and positive relationships with a wide range of people.
Are able to empower, inspire confidence, and promote independence.
Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
For Project Worker applicants:
Minimum SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with children and young people with additional support needs.
Experience creating Care Plans and supporting staff development.
Experience working with young people with Autism or Learning disabilities would be advantageous - personal or professional, however not essential as we provide our staff with ongoing mentoring, training, and development opportunities to provide you with an exciting and rewarding career path.
