Registered Care Manager - Children and Adult Care

As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for an Experienced and Registered Care Manager who will manage our community and care at home services and provide the highest quality of care and support to children and adult service users in accordance with the company’s policies & procedures and the standards set by the regulatory bodies.
You will be responsible for efficient day-to-day running of the business and manage all aspects of care by providing excellent management and leadership to ensure staff are clear about their duties and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely.

You will:
- Manage the planning and delivery of support packages and care rotas and ensure they are in place for the smooth and efficient running of the services.
- Handle reports and manage the financial effectiveness of budgets as specified by the management.
- Liaise with and maintain partnerships with health professionals and other local community organisations.
- Hire and train new staff and provide ongoing supervision and development for existing members.
- Take ownership of quality assurance and governance through scheduled spot checks, service reviews, internal audits, and risk assessments.
- Supervise in the continual assessment of the needs of people and identify and prepare development plans to ensure the most appropriate service provisions.
- Actively promote independence by safeguarding complex needs, organizing activities for service users and providing advice and support to their families.
- Undertake other duties from time to time as we may reasonably require.
Skills and Qualifications Needed:
- This post will suit a Care Manager with at least 3 years of extensive experience and knowledge with a recognised professional qualification like SVQ 4 or above in health and social care, youth work, childcare services, health, teaching or education, and evidence of a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Good understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a registered manager with an excellent track record with Care Inspectorate reports.
- SSSC Registration is essential with working knowledge of the SSSC Codes of Practice. Demonstrated experience in holistic assessment of need, support and risk, and multi-agency casework planning.
- Experience in working with clients and families with an understanding of risk factors and safeguarding concerns to vulnerable adults.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to communicate with a range of people using a variety of communication methods.
Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year.
