This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced, passionate and genuinely caring individuals to join our LOVE Team, this is a combined role supporting vulnerable children and young adults within the LOVE hub and the community.
As a LOVE Project Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Building good relationships with our young people and encouraging them to achieve their goals.
- Plan activities in line with working towards goals and outcomes for our young people.
- Working in a positive way with parents and partner agencies to ensure the best opportunities are available for our young people.
- The ability to communicate and document important relevant information and any updates to management.
- Creating Care Plans and supporting Assistant Project Workers.
- Attending meetings as appropriate and to participate in the effective, supportive, and efficient working of the team.
- Having an understanding of the principles of safeguarding and child protection legislation.
- Supporting staff supervisions and spot checks.

The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Have experience working with young people with complex needs.
- Be resourceful and to be able to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude with consistency and patience.
- Able to show you can build a good rapport and relationships with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to empower and inspire confidence in others.
- A minimum of an SVQ 3 or equivalent in health and social care.
- A minimum 3 years experience working with children and young people with additional support needs.
